Disabilities Today is now on the Radio.
Disabilities Today, the only nationally aired weekly television show on disability issues is now starting a one-hour live weekly radio program. The show will air every Sunday from 4pm est. to 5pm est. on News Talk WDTK AM 1400 in Detroit, MI.
Roger McCarville, host of the television show will also host the radio version. "What has been missing in this market has been a source of information that can readily reach a mass audience," says McCarville. " This radio show will fill this void, giving people with disabilities a voice that they've haven't had."
The show is a live call-in program and will feature news, and interviews with guests on a wide variety of issues relating to the disabled community.
The television program is in the middle of its sixth year of production and is aired on PBS stations all across the United States and Canada.
Listeners can call in live to the radio show at 1-800-923 9385 and they can visit the Disabilities Today website at www.disabilitiestoday.com. The show can also be heard on the internet around the globe by visiting www.wdtkam.com.
